The hike itself was a great work out as well as you have to pick your way through the rocks in the path and there are some good inclines as well. The view at the top is really spectacular. You are really high up. Our leader, Alphonso, was very knowledgeable and pointed out mountain goats that we wouldn’t have spotted without him. “We had a great time cycling in some parts of Malaga we didn’t know at all, we saw the natural reserve with all kind of birds (we saw some flamingos flying!) and then we discovered different neighborhoods of Malaga with its history and evolution through the years. Even if you’re not used to cycle it was very easy (only flat). I would definitely recommend it.”

We started the hike crossing some tropical plantations: bananas, mangos, avocados, custard apple...after that we got into the natural park and what a stunning views from the cliffs. Be ready to descend steep areas until the beach, some areas are challenging...not for every body....once in the beach we could relax and enjoy in this unique place. We were alone in the beach and we started with the snorkelling. We saw a lot of fish in the turquoise water. It really felt like vacations!”

“Great hike along the cliffs in the natural park of Maro and Nerja. Moderately strenuous hike with some steep areas and loose gravel. Thanks David for helping Monica on some of the downhills! Breathtaking views along the coast from the top. Our family of four from US with two young teens and family of 3 from South Africa. We made our way down to a small remote beach with a pebbly shore that was a little tough on the feet without water shoes. Water was chilly but refreshing after the hike. Visibility was limited near shore by surf break breaking and some floating algae but there were lots of fish…”
